Thanks so much

Its almost the end of the school term so time to get cracking on the teacher thank you cards and gifts, this year I've gone for something quick and simple, each year i seem to have to make more as i cannot leave anyone out and as well as making things for my sons Teachers and TA's  i also make them for my nephew and nieces Teachers and TA's too.
I will make different variations of the card shown except for the only make teacher i will have to think of something else, something sporty as he is big on sport.
For the gifts i plan to make decorated planners/journals. I bought some plain craft A5 planners so i plan on decorating them very similar to the cards although the flower will be on a tag attached to ribbon on the spine of the book so it Can be used as a book mark, because if the flower was to be attached to the front of the book it would be too bulky when writing in the planner.
Once I've got them finished i will post them on here for all to see.

The leaves are cut on the cricut , the rolled flowers are diecuts from my little shoe box, the card is from suzicraft, the sentiment is stampin' up. ive also used my splodgeAway mat with walnut stain distress ink, and as always ive edged elements in stickles and liquid pearls.

Humbled

I know I've harped on so much about my local craft shop Suzicraft, but I have good reason too. You will not meet two nicer people they go out of their way for you and not just because it means money in the till they genuinely do care for their customers every need, whether your a customer old or new when you walk in the door they offer you a drink, they will order special items and they have the best prices around. They have come a long way since they started trading as a market stall many years ago, they were there in all weather, now they have the bricks and mortar shop they deserve.  They have been open 7 months and they are going from strength to strength. They offer regular classes and craft days, they have invented an innovative new product which will be big (watch this space) the design team for said product has been put together so we will be going live soon. Im grateful to be on the design team and honoured to be given the opportunity to teach some upcoming classes at the shop, they've given me so much encouragement and support, I am humbled by them and their commitment to the business, customers and friends. Thank you Susan and Tom this card is for you
Ive used SplodgeAway easy ink card and used a brayer and assorted foam applicators for the background, the stamps are a mix of stampin up (trees) and the flowers, butterflies and birds are inkadinkadoo. The sentiment is personal impressions.

Big butterflies

I've got another tilda Easter card to share with you today, isn't she cute.
I've coloured her with pro markers and I've lightly sponged the background with stamping' up ink and yellow chalk ink.
The flowers are by wild orchid crafts as it the pearl trim, the gorgeous big ribbon is from a seller I found on Facebook can you believe she had an offer on so it worked put at 15p a metre.
The papers I've used are from the first edition spring drop pad. Now on to that gorgeous big butterfly it's made from feathers and came in a pack of 9 from home bargains (a UK shop) they were cheap as chips so think I will try and get some more.
I will come back later and link it to some challenges, I know there are a lot of Easter themed ones this week
Magnolia down under - Easter inspired
Just Magnolia - springtime
simon says stamp - anything goes
i love promarkers - bead it
cute card thursday - easter
addicted to stamps - spring

On to a very sad note, the reason I haven't posted everyday is because my uncle is gravely I'll, I mentioned in one of my earlier posts about him having a very long operation well he has never recovered from it and we got the very sad news last week that he only has days left so I've been spending all spare available time at the hospital and comforting family, so I apologise in advance if my posts get few are far between in the next week or so.
