Garden fairy

Next week it is my niece's birthday and she will be four, i wanted a really colourful card for her so i dug out some of my cheerful we are memory keeper papers and set to work colouring this cute precious moments image.
I coloured her with pro markers and a few copics and of course i added lots and lots of stickles for added bling a little girl can never have too much sparkle!
The added white highlights were achieved using a white posca pen, i love this pen as you get a true white every time no matter what colour your going over.
the flowers are wild orchid crafts.

Today i went on my first venture out since having my operation and i enjoyed the fresh air but came home a little tired so i had a nice hot cuppa and a play in my craft room, now i think a little nap is in order LOL.

The same in blue

Well that didnt take long i posted the girl card on facebook and i got a message almost immediately asking for the same card  but for a baby shower.
I dont normally make the same card twice but as it was requested it did it although i changed the embellishment, and the size this one is 6 x6 where as the last one was 8 x8.
Id like to give a big shout out to Sue Jimson AKA Ollies mam for giving me shout out on her blog it was very much appreciated and thanks to my new followers and a few new visitors who have left lovely comments, its great to be back to the world of crafting and blogging.
For those of you kind ladies asking about my health im on the road to recovery and will be out and about before i know it
Thanks everyone xxxxx

Feels good to be back

Well after a few months of not crafting, today I stepped up to my craft desk and created this cute card. Good friends Tom and Susan from splodgeaway were blessed with a precious daughter, Holly who was born on Saturday so that was my inspiration for getting crafty.
The image is lili of the valley and the papers are graphic 45, lots of walnut stain distress inks on all edges and stickles for a little bling.
I'm currently recovering from an operation and have many weeks off work so I'm sure I will craft a little more in the coming weeks.
