Best fun

Let me first make my appologies for my lack of posts, the reason being im under the influence of Christian Grey in the 50 shades of Grey Trillogy, oh yes i read them all but i was compelled to start them all over again!

Yesterday i headed off to suzicraft to take part in an all day craft class with Annette Lee it was a day of real messy play we were using an assortment of goodies from sticky back, canvas, claudine helmuth paints and mediums, tim holtz tissue, dylusions spray inks, and whole host of other crafty sticky mess. Most of the ladies at the class were rigid card makers who like the neatness and perfection of card making so all of this messy play pushed them right out of their comfort zone, i on the other hand was in my element, its a long time since ive got inky and messy for the fun of it instead of sticking to my card making briefs. i used to dabble in altered art and collage stuff in my early crafting days but have since stuck to the neat line of card making. it was great using all the various mediums some i hasten to add i have not used before. we had the choice of doing something on a canvas or the start of a board book, i choose the board book so i could continue my work at home at my own leisure. I thoroughly enjoyed the class, it was just my thing, and i came away with a bag full of goodies to enable me to complete my book (please bank manager/husband ignore the previous statement!)

So thank you suean and tom for hosting such a good class and thank you Annette for pushing everyone from their comfort zone, the class is being repeated again on Wednesday if your interested their maybe a few places spare.
